Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package of orange cake mix
- 1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O® mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (3.4 ounces) package in instants of ant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of orange extract
- 1 (8-ounce) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions
Step 1:Prepare cake mix according to package directions for a 9×13-inch pan and bake. Poke holes in the cake while it is still hot with the round handle of a wooden spoon.
Step 2:In a medium bowl, prepare gelatin with just 1 cup boiling water. Pour the liquid gelatin over the still-hot cake. Leave the cake to cool completely.
Step 3:In a medium bowl, prepare instant vanilla pudding with only 1 cup of milk. Stir in vanilla extract and orange extract. Fold in whipped custard. Spread evenly over the cake. Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour before serving.
