- 1/2 cupNestlé a+ Nourish Milk
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla Essence
- 3/4 cupNestlé MILKMAID
- 1 cup + 1 tsp-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp baking Soda
- 1/4 cup chopped Almonds
Ingredients for Apple Topping
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon Powder
- 1 tsp lemon Juice
- 1 cupChopped Apple
- 1/4 cupBrown Sugar
- 1 tbsp chilled Butter
Ingredients for Crumble
- 1/2 cupPowdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon Powder
- 1/4 tsp chopped Almonds
- 1/2 cup-Chilled Chopped Butter
- 1/2 cup-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup oats
Directions
Preparation method for the crumble:
- Put the chopped butter in a bowl. Add flour, rolled oats, powdered sugar, cinnamon powder, and chopped almonds.
- Mix everything together with a light hand.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator to keep it cool before adding it to the cake.
Preparation method for the apple topping:
- In a bowl, mix the chopped apples with sugar, cinnamon powder, and lemon juice.
- Add the butter and mix well.
Preparation method for the cake batter:
- Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Cream butter, nestlé MILKMAID, and vanilla extract until the mixture is fluffy
- Add the dry ingredients alternately with the wet ingredients and milk to make a dough.
- Dust the chopped almonds with 1 teaspoon of flour and fold them into the batter.
- Pour into a greased and lined rectangular baking dish (10″ x 7″).
How to assemble the cake before baking:
- Spread the apple mixture over the batter and mix lightly.
- Top with the streusel mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla pudding/ice cream/whipped cream, depending on how you like it!
