How To Make Air Fryer Lava Cakes?
A simple hot air fryer lava cake recipe for those days when you want to make something chocolatey and quick. This recipe is for two lava cakes but can easily be doubled.

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
Step 1:Preheat a hot air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). grease 2 individual baking dishes.
Step 2:Mix chocolate crisps and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and heat in 15 second intervals until almost melted. Remove from microwave and stir until chocolate is completely melted and well mixed.
Step 3:Whisk the icing sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract and salt into the melted chocolate. Add the flour and stir in. Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins and place in the basket of the deep fryer. Cover the ramekins with large pieces of aluminium foil and tuck the ends underneath so that the foil does not fly away.
Step 4:bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove the foil and cook the cake for a further 2 to 4 minutes until the edges are firm. Remove from the hot air fryer and leave to rest for 5 minutes.
Step 5:Turn out onto dessert plates and serve immediately.
