Ingredients
- Pinch salt
- Flake Coconut
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut, such as Baker’s Angel
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa, such as Hershey’s
Directions
Step 1:Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2:In a food processor or large bowl with a hand mixer, cream together the butter, both sugars, vanilla and eggs. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until everything is well combined. Stir in the chocolate crisps, coconut and pecans.
Step 3:Drop the batter by tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets, 12 biscuits per sheet, and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Leave to cool on a cooling rack.
