Ingredients
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 large eggs
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Beat until well blended.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with half of the brown sugar mixture.
- Pour the remaining batter over the top and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture on top
- and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the cake is set. Let cool slightly.
- Mix all glaze ingredients in a small bowl and drizzle over the cooled cake.
