Oven-Fried Chicken Chimichangas Recipe:
Oven-baked chicken chimichangas are a Tex-Mex dish consisting of crispy tortillas filled with shredded chicken, black beans and cheese, then baked in the oven until golden and crispy. The chicken is usually seasoned with spices such as cumin, chili powder and paprika, which gives it a slightly smoky and spicy flavor. The tortillas are first heated to make them pliable, then filled with the chicken and bean mixture and rolled up tightly
The chimichangas are then coated with oil and baked in the oven until they are crispy and golden brown. They are usually served with various toppings such as sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Oven-baked chicken chimichangas are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried chimichangas, making them a popular choice for those looking for a healthier alternative without sacrificing taste.
