Ice Cream Cake Ingredients:
- 1 (15.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ½ gallon chocolate ice cream
Directions:
STEP:1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Combine chocolate cake mix, water, eggs and oil in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.

Bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 26 to 30 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.

Meanwhile, remove the cardboard paper from the ice cream. Place the block of ice cream on its long side. Using a piece of string or dental floss, cut the ice cream in half lengthwise and place the two pieces side by side on a sheet of wax paper.

Remove the cooled cake from the baking dish and place it on the ice cream sheets. Trim cake and ice cream so that edges are flush.

Place a board or serving platter over the cake. Holding the wax paper and board, turn the ice cream cake over. Remove the wax paper and smooth the seam between the ice cream plates.
