Ingredients

cooking spray
2 (8-ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened
1 ¾ cups white sugar, divided
1 teaspoon Mexican vanilla extract
2 (8-ounce) cans of chilled crescent rolls
½ cup butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup honey

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Step 2: Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
Step 3: Roll out the dough and shape it into a 9×13-inch rectangle with a rolling pin. Press a piece into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top, then cover with the remaining piece of dough.
Step 4: Mash the remaining 3/4 cup sugar, butter, and cinnamon with a fork until combined. Drizzle the mixture over the dough.
Step 5: Bake in preheated oven until dough is puffed and golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Step 6: Remove from oven and drizzle with honey. Let cool completely in the pan for about 2 hours before cutting into 12 squares.
