This grilled herring recipe is simple, healthy, and delicious. The marinade adds a nice tangy flavor to the fish, and the crispy skin adds a satisfying crunch. Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
- 2 herrings, filleted
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Basic Instructions for Grilled Herring :
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Place herring fillets on a parchment lined baking sheet.
3. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
4. Bake for 15 minutes or until the herring is cooked through.
5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
6. In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, olive oil, oregano, and salt and pepper.
7. Add the cooled herring fillets and gently toss until evenly combined.
8. Serve and Enjoy !
